Hello.  Welcome to my blog, “A Lady in Adelaide”.  I am a Human Resource Consultant by trade but I have always had a passion for writing and travel.

Lndon Big Ben

Whether it be local, national or international travel, I believe that all experiences can add value to who you are as an individual.  I am fortunate to have travelled to some of the most amazing destinations such as Europe, Canada, the United States and, of course, Australia.  Travel is one of the best ways I know to experience and learn about other cultures.

When I am not travelling, or working, I like to explore what is on offer within my home city of Adelaide.  Hence, the name of this blog.  There are many places of interest to see in South Australia between those big overseas trips. I will include a “Spotlight on SA”  segment bi-monthly to showcase the wonderful State I am fortunate to live in.

Since I started travelling and exploring new lands, I have learnt so much about myself  and these stories have been filed under “reflections“. I have enjoyed meeting new and wonderful people.  We have shared some amazing adventures together as we did in the post Basque Jewels.

Health and well-being is an important part of our travelling lifestyle. and the last souvenir we want to bring home is a mysterious illness. Australians are known for their positive outlook on a healthy lifestyle and I hope to share some tips I have discovered along the way to stay safe and healthy.

This blog is about writing and sharing these wonderful, enriching and inspirational discoveries with you.

I will post a monthly “featured video” from one of the countries I have vistied to allow you to experience the feeling of that place as I did.  These videos will complement the written posts during that month in many cases.

Travel is about what really makes you happy.

Please feel feel to share your thoughts on any of the stories that you feel a spiritual connection to.

Happy travelling!!!

Feel free to come visit me when you can at http://www.thatssojacob.wordpress.com, and follow if you like what you read. Happy new year and happy blogging!

    • Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I was inspired to create this name when I was browsing through other blogs and websites. Although my aim was to focus on travel, I wanted a name that would allow me to explore other topics and one that I would be happy with.
I will definitely drop by your blog. There are so many good reads out there.

  3. Thanks for dropping by my blog – glad you like it. Travelling and writing – I can relate to both! Keep up the nice blog.
