Photo of the Month: Stormy Skies

There is something about a dark, stormy sky that piques one’s curiosity.  It has an almost haunting, eerie feel to it.  That if we let the darkness win it may overcome us.  This photo was taken on a summer day late last year where the day had started out perfect.

I love this photo because it shows how quickly everything can change in the blink of an eye.  What we worried about five minutes ago will not matter an hour later. It is a reminder to us to live in the moment and not take anything for granted.  Once the sun comes out again we will forget all about those dark, stormy clouds hanging over us.
