Niagara Falls are a set of three natural water falls that allow one to witness the powerful rush of water pounding the rocks below. The most impressive on my trip through Canada were the Canadian Falls.
Standing a massive 50.9 metres high and stretching 792.4 metres in length, visitors are able to see the falls up close and personal from on board the famous Maid of the Mist charter boat. Everyone is issued with a souvenir blue raincoat and as you can see from the video below, this is definitely needed considering how close the boat gets to the falls.
Feel the water spray on your face, and listen to the thunderous roar, as you watch the tiny boat get closer and closer to the pounding of the Falls. Amazingly, there are approximately 2,271,247 litres of water rush over the waterfall every second!
Niagara Falls are truly an amazing natural wonder and worth a visit to witness such power.

I was a young child – five or six – when my parents, brother, and I went to Niagara Falls (the New York side). They had me mesmerized and completely awestruck. I vaguely remember wearing a provided raincoat and hat on the boat ride. I’ve loved waterfalls ever since.
